As I Walked Out One Evening by W.H. Auden
This poem was written in 1937 by W.H. Auden. He is contemplating love and the cruelty of time in three voices: the narrator, the lover, and the clocks. I think it is wonderful to hear the poet recite his own work. Love and Time, themes that will always be with us.
